I have sent this out before but I was asked how to do this...
This will actually work for almost any program...
- Close all instances of Visual Studio
- Right click on the Visual Studio icon in your task bar (you will first need add to task bar in windows 10)
- Right click on Visual Studio and click Properties
- Click open File Location button
- Right-click devenv.exe file in that folder appears
- Select Troubleshoot compatibility
- Select Troubleshoot program
- Select The program requires additional permissions
- Click Test the program and wait for the program to launch
- Then click Next button
- Select Yes, save these settings for this program
- Click Clos
